Who we are

LFTOVA is operated by e-presence Consultants Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). For the personal data described in this notice, we act as the data controller.

What we collect

Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
Profile and preferences: dietary restrictions, allergies, simplicity preferences.
Usage data: ingredients you submit, AI recipe outputs, saved recipes, generation history.
Support communications: emails or messages you send us.
Technical data: IP address, browser/device identifiers, log data.

Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed by our payment provider Paddle and is not stored by us.

How we use it & legal basis

To create and operate your account and provide the service (contract performance).
To personalize recipes and remember your preferences (contract performance).
To process subscriptions and prevent fraud (contract performance, legitimate interests).
To improve the product and AI quality (legitimate interests).
To respond to support requests (legitimate interests).
To send service-related emails (legitimate interests / contract performance).

AI prompts you submit are sent to our model provider to generate recipes.

Who we share data with

Hosting & infrastructure providers (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) for application hosting, database, and authentication.
AI model providers for generating recipes from your prompts.
Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
Authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside Canada. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) to protect your data when transferred internationally.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Saved recipes and generation history are retained until you delete them or close your account. After account closure, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege server-side handling of secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
